What is All Things Scottish? All Things Scottish (ATS) is a collection of miscellaneous Scottish items for your Mac. It includes a Scottish desktop picture, some Scottish sounds, Scottish icons, links, and other stuff. What does it do? It makes your computer generally more Scottish. What do I need to use it? A Mac, an affinity for Scotland and/or Scottish people (such as me), and a sense of humour. How much does it cost? Nothing. ATS is completely free, but please read the Charity page. Why did you make it? I was bored on a Saturday afternoon. Really, really bored. Is this actually some kind of jab at Scottish people? Absolutely not. I really am Scottish (truly Scottish; I was born and raised in central Scotland). I'm in Scotland right now, as I'm typing out this page. Is there a hidden political agenda behind this? No, not at all. Just a bit of good-natured fun. I'd love to see others make an All Things English, All Things American, and so on. That would be very cool. I've got some Scottish stuff I think you should add to All Things Scottish. Can I send it along? By all means. Just don't email anything that's bigger than about 500k without asking first, please. |
