You can assume that all the Actions on this page do indeed work with CyberStudio, unless the description says "Requires GoLive 4 or later".To decode the appropriate files, Mac users should use StuffIt Expander. PC users, you should use WinZip. Get those utilities at the URLs below if you need them. StuffIt Expander (Mac): WinZip (Windows): Next, you just drag the Action files into the GoLive Actions folder, which is inside the JScripts folder, inside the Modules folder. You can find the Modules folder in your main GoLive folder, beside the GoLive application itself. Lastly, quit GoLive if it's running, and then relaunch it. Your new Actions will now be available in GoLive. See your GoLive manual for instructions on how to use Actions. |

a Head Creates a "fade-in" or "fade-out" effect by changing the background color of a page gradually between two chosen colors. You choose the start color, the end color, and the number of steps in the fade (1-255). You use the Action in an Action Headitem, and you can choose to run it on OnParse for fade-in or OnUnload for fade-out. You can also add two Action Headitems to have the page fade in and then out. Notes:
Note: For a more powerful multiple-stylesheet Action, try CSS Write Pro. Use as a Head
Action from the Smart tab of the palette, set to run OnParse
(in GoLive 4 and earlier, a Head Action was called an Action Headitem
and was in the CyberObjects tab of the palette). Lets you choose six different external stylesheets:
This Action will use the appropriate stylesheet depending on what browser/platform the visitor is using. Stylesheets will only be used if the browser version is 4 or later.
Use as a Body
Action from the Smart tab of the palette (in GoLive 4 and earlier,
a Body Action was called an Inline Action and was in the CyberObjects
tab of the palette). Writes a different message

Use as a Body
Action from the Smart tab of the palette (in GoLive 4 and earlier,
a Body Action was called an Inline Action and was in the CyberObjects
tab of the palette). Redirects Third Voice users to a page/URL of your choice. Doesn't affect Mac or Unix users, or Windows Netscape users. Note: this action has not been tested. Please report any bugs. Icon by the excellent guys at IconFactory.
Use as a Head Action from the Smart tab of the palette (in GoLive 4 and earlier, a Head Action was called an Action Headitem and was in the CyberObjects tab of the palette). Stops any Third Voice notes being displayed. The action doesn't prevent TV notes being added, but it will make it difficult for TV users to view any existing notes. Note that the script only runs if the page is being viewed with IE 4.x on Windows, since that's currently the only platform which TV is available for (at time of writing). Note: this action has not been tested, and the script was written by Jeremy Bowers. Please report any bugs. Icon by the excellent guys at IconFactry.

Note that this positioning will only function in version 4 (or later) browsers; older browsers will just open the window at the top-left of the screen.
This action will create a new email in the user's email program, filling-in the recipient's address, the subject, and the message.
This action allows you
to quickly find the next occurrence of any chosen text on the current
webpage.
